A wire wrapping frenzy! Two different gauges are combined to create this one of a kind necklace. As a mixed media artist I enjoy using different materials to create new effects. While realizing this particular piece, it felt like sewing with wire. The finished necklace feels organic yet reminds me of shiny robot parts. This mini-sculpture measures 6″ across and 3″ long. All aluminum wire, including the champagne colored wire wrapping on the top two loops. The 18″ cable chain is a slightly darker matte finish aluminum, for contrast. Closure is a signature eljaiek ArtWear hook and eye clasp.
